Kim Pace, M.Sc., S-LP(C)
As Founder and Director of Express Yourself!, Kim coordinates all business and clinical aspects of the company, while maintaining a large clinical caseload. Kim feels extremely fortunate to work in a profession that provides daily validation and meaning to her work.

Kim obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Ottawa (Linguistics, 1988) and a Master of Science degree from the University of British Columbia (Audiology and Speech Sciences, 1990). She has 15 years of clinical experience as a speech-language pathologist. Her strength is in working with children with severe communication and developmental challenges. Kim has additional training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and is an approved Clinical Supervisor for IBI programming through the family-funded models of Preschool Autism Services (Central West and Hamilton-Niagara Regions). She is co-founder of Music Express!, an innovative group therapy program for children that facilitates development of communication skills through music.

Kim is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She is also a certified member of the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA). She is a member of the Halton Down Syndrome Association (HDSA), Hamilton-Wentworth Down Syndrome Association (HWDSA), Halton Autism Society, and the Autism Society of Ontario (ASO). »Return to Top


Sandra Lane, M.A., S-LP(C), CCC
Sandra is an energetic speech-language pathologist who has been practicing for over 14 years in the area of pediatric speech-language pathology. She has special interest in language development, oral motor disorders, and augmentative communication. Sandra's pediatric experience includes practicing in acute care hospitals, preschool speech and language programs, school care both with the Board of Education (Bermuda, Hamilton) and Community Care Access Centre (Halton, Hamilton), and private practice. She has been working with Express Yourself! since November 1999, and currently balances her work in private practice with a part-time position at McMaster Children's Hospital.

Sandra obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University (Linguistics, 1989) and a Masters degree in Communicative Disorders and Sciences from State University of New York – Buffalo (1992). She is registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She is a certified member of the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA). »Return to Top


Sandra Facey, B.Sc., (CD), S-LP
Sandy is a dynamic, team-oriented speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She joined Express Yourself! in February 1999, and has special interest working with children experiencing oral motor difficulties, severe articulation challenges, and expressive and/or receptive language disorders.

Sandy obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Western Ontario (1980). She is a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She is also certified through the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA) and registered with the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA). Prior to joining Express Yourself!, Sandy dedicated 12 years of service as a speech-language pathologist in the field of education. She has also worked with preschool children in both health unit and hospital settings. »Return to Top


Shari Shields, M.Cl.Sc., S-LP(C)
Shari joined Express Yourself! on a part-time basis in October 2003. She is a quick and effective learner, with an interest in functional outcomes and generalization of communication skills. Her current pediatric practice at Express Yourself! compliments her work with adults at the St. Catherine's General Hospital.

Shari obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University (Anthropology and Psychology, 2000) and a Master of Clinical Science degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Western Ontario (2003). Shari is a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and a certified member of the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA). »Return to Top


Sarah Bennett, M. H.Sc., S-LP(C)
Sarah is among the newest professional additions to the Express Yourself! team, but has worked with the company in numerous other capacities before joining as a speech-language pathologist in August 2005.

Sarah obtained her Bachelor of Health Science degree from the University of Western Ontario (2003) and a Master of Health Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toronto (2005). She is currently interested in working with children with a variety of communication difficulties, including articulation, oral motor, expressive and/or receptive language disorders. Her work at Express Yourself! will include providing individual diagnostic and treatment services to preschool children, conducting therapy with school-aged children funded through the Community Care Access Centres, and leading Music Express! programs. »Return to Top


Amy Grossi, M.S., S-LP
Amy is a dedicated professional who finds it easy to relate to children of all ages and encourages them in a caring manner to achieve their goals. She is the newest professional addition to the Express Yourself! team who joined us in March 2006. She currently is working for us on a part-time basis. Her pediatric caseload at Express Yourself! compliments her work on the Early Intervention Team at the Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre in St. Catharines . There she works with other professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists and social workers with the infant population and their families. Amy also works with the preschool population at Speech Services Niagara in St. Catharines. She enjoys working with children with a variety of communications difficulties including articulation, oral motor, expressive and/or receptive language disorders, voice and stuttering.

Amy obtained a Bachelor of Arts - Linguistics degree from Brock University (June 2003) and a Master of Science degree from the University of New York – College at Fredonia (December 2004). She is a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologist of Ontario (CASLPO). »Return to Top


Irene Lembesis, B.Sc., CDA
Irene is a vibrant and enthusiastic communicative disorders assistant who has been working full time at Express Yourself! since October 2000. She provides both individual and small group therapy services to children with a full range of communication difficulties, under the supervision of our speech-language pathologists. Irene is experienced and very comfortable working with children with autism. She has additional training in oral motor development and has a special interest working with children experiencing difficulties in this area. In addition to her direct clinical work, Irene is the coordinator of all specialty and summer group therapy programs.

Irene obtained her B.Sc., at the University of Toronto (1999). She obtained her certificate as a Communicative Disorders Assistant in 2000, after completing the CDA program at Georgian College. »Return to Top


Linda Bond
Linda joined Express Yourself! in October 2003 as Office Manager. She is incredibly organized and single handedly manages all administrative aspects of the business including new referrals, scheduling, invoicing, receivables, and product sales. It is Linda's voice you will hear when you call Express Yourself! and her friendly smile that will greet you when you arrive for an appointment. »Return to Top
